What the client needed
City of Winnipeg agreed to rename Papoose Park to Tikina’gaan Park and needed a brochure designed.
My part of the project
Tikina’gaan is the word for cradleboard in Anishinaabemowin. This is how babies have been carried from the time of immemorial on this land. This is what inspired the look of an actual Tikina’gaan for the brochure design.
